I’m not particularly brave. I’m not the late Karl Malden. And no way am I new. I just happen currently to reside in the London suburb of New Malden and I once read Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. I sort of combined them in a crazy portmanteau kind of way to create this amusing moniker.
People often ask if there’s an Old Malden. Well, yes, apparently there is, but I have never knowingly been there. As New Malden isn’t really that new at all, I’d imagine Old Malden is just a few steps away from wattle & daub housing.
I intend to use this blog to post stuff that interests or concerns me, relate amusing anecdotes, link to hilarious youtube clips approximately three weeks after everyone else has seen them and generally indulge in time-wasting activities.
